Most AI training teaches the tool. I'd rather teach your work.
We don't start with a list of features. We start with the things your people actually do all week, and we use AI on those, live, with your real examples. By the end, everyone has done it themselves at least once on something that matters to them.
What we cover
It depends on your team, but it usually includes:
- What's actually happening when you ask AI something. It isn't searching the web or looking things up in a database. Once people understand what it's really doing, they stop being surprised by it and start using it well.
- The chatbot versus the workspace. Most people use AI like a chat window: ask a question, get an answer, start over tomorrow. The bigger wins come from giving it a workspace with your own documents and context, so it already knows your business when you sit down.
- Doing a real task together. A customer email. A quote. A summary of a long thread. Whatever your team is stuck on this week.
- What not to hand over. Where it gets things wrong, how to check its work, and what should stay with a person.
How I teach it
I keep it hands-on and plain. No jargon you have to look up afterward.
I've learned a few things doing this. The demos that land are the ones tied to somebody's actual pain, like the person in the room who copies the same numbers from one website to another every day. The ones that don't land are the ones that look impressive to me and mean nothing to them. So I check in a lot, and I cut anything that isn't helping.
People leave knowing how to use it on their own work the next morning. That's the goal. Not a certificate.
Keep learning after
The Start learning section of this site is free. It has short, plain-English lessons on how AI actually works and how to start building things with it. It's a good place to point your team before or after a session.
Remote or on-site
Most of this happens remotely, over a video call and a shared screen. If you'd rather I come to you, I can. You cover the travel time.
Who this is for
- Owners who want their team using AI well, not just using it.
- Teams that tried a chatbot, got a few weird answers, and gave up.
- Anyone who wants to understand what they're using before they trust it.
